     Student Centered Learning

In this course, students will learn about adult learning theories and how they can be applied to the role of educator to enhance the learning environment and contribute to more effective learning. Lifelong learning is becoming a reality, resulting in adults engaging in learning in formal, nonformal, and informal settings. The adult learner is defined. Traditional and more contemporary learning theories will be discussed. Dimensions of adult learning, the process of adult learning, and how culture and context impact the learning process will be explored. Carefully read each section of the Course Home page.
